Originally hired to manage the production of long-form YouTube content both locally and internationally, I quickly took on responsibility for the overall YouTube strategy FOR the Jolly Roger HQ project due to my experience with the platform. I later also began working on the main company channels to scale them.
After revamping the Jolly Roger production organization to improve the quality and quantity of our output, we increased viewership by approximately 2000% and active subscribers by 450% in the first year. We also achieved our first two million views on a long-form edit for the company in just 6 months.
Given the challenging nature of cannabis education on social platforms, we had to take an aggressively experimental approach, but the results speak for themselves, and the channel continues to exceed expectations.
